Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Welcome to Mindful Horizons: Cross-Cultural Curriculum Collaboration!
Mindful Horizons is an Erasmus+ KA220-SCH project (2024-2026) that aims to integrate mindfulness practices into school curricula, fostering emotional intelligence, well-being, and intercultural collaboration among students and educators. Coordinated by the Mudanya District Directorate of National Education, our project brings together partners from Türkiye, Spain, Sweden, Czechia, Germany, and Estonia to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment.
Our objectives include:
-
Empowering teachers with the knowledge and tools to incorporate mindfulness into daily lessons,
-
Developing a structured Mindfulness Curriculum with 50 lesson plans,
-
Creating a free digital mindfulness application,
-
Establishing a Mindfulness Training Program for educators,
-
Supporting students, including those with special needs, through tailored mindfulness techniques,
-
Strengthening international cooperation and cultural exchange among partner institutions.
With a strong emphasis on digitalization, inclusion, and innovation, Mindful Horizons seeks to create long-term benefits for schools, students, and families. Through research-based mindfulness practices, we aim to enhance mental well-being, reduce stress, and promote a supportive educational environment across Europe.
Join us on this transformative journey towards a more mindful and inclusive education!

Our Story
Mindful Horizons was born from a shared vision among educators across Europe who recognized the growing need for mindfulness in education. Following the success of our previous Erasmus+ KA227 project S.T.O.P., which introduced mindfulness techniques to schools, we saw the potential to take this initiative further. Our journey evolved into a collaborative effort to create a structured Mindfulness Curriculum, blending scientific mindfulness practices with innovative teaching strategies.
With partners from Türkiye, Spain, Sweden, Czechia, Germany, and Estonia, we embarked on a mission to empower educators, support students—including those with special needs—and bridge cultural differences through mindfulness. By integrating mindfulness into daily lessons, developing a free digital application, and offering training programs for teachers, we aim to create lasting change in the way schools approach emotional well-being and holistic learning. Mindful Horizons is not just a project; it is a movement toward a more mindful, inclusive, and connected educational future.
